Jerry Philpott has
been representing clients in Perry County for
almost 25 years, and is very well regarded by
the judges and lawyers in the area. He has
handled a wide range of matters that include
most, if not all, of the legal problems that
people commonly encounter: criminal defense,
bankruptcy, divorce, custody, wills, estates,
real estate, land use, general civil
litigation, and business issues. He has tried
large cases and small, and enjoys helping
members of the community in need of help. He is
well known for his work representing the
defendants in the infamous “Appalachian
Trail Murder” death penalty case and the
“Torso Murder” retrial, which he
won. He has also served as the solicitor for
several townships, a school district, and
municipal agencies. Mr. Philpott’s years
of experience and no-nonsense approach benefit
clients enormously, enabling him to provide
efficient and effective representation. In
light of Mr. Philpott's many years of
experience with Elder Law issues, the firm is
now adding Elder Law as a new practice area.
A native of California, Mr. Philpott went to
Santa Clara Law School, where he edited the Law
Review and competed in the national moot court
competition. After graduating near the top of
his class from law school, Mr. Philpott moved
with his wife and family to the Washington,
D.C. area, where he worked as a trial attorney
for the Federal Trade Commission. He spent 15
years litigating large, complex antitrust suits
for the government. |

Ms. Wilson has been trying criminal and civil
cases in state court, and representing federal
criminal defendants in federal court. She has

Pennsylvania Superior Court and Pennsylvania
Supreme Court. In addition, Ms. Wilson has been
